A decade on the warehouse floor, in the driver's seat, and on the dispatch desk — before ever building a company.
Ryan Paul Dunne founded Veritide Logistics Group after a decade spent working through nearly every layer of the 3PL industry — the kind of knowledge that comes from the warehouse floor and the driver's seat, not a boardroom.
He started as an Operations Analyst, filling in on the warehouse floor and running routes himself as a backup driver, before being thrown into managing a palletized small-parcel trucking operation in Miami during a holiday peak season. That trial by fire led to a promotion into operational leadership, where he earned his CDL Class A while directing a Central & South Florida freight division for a regional carrier.
From there, his career deliberately broadened rather than settled. He managed channel distribution under a short-term contract for a pharmaceutical manufacturer — B2B freight moving between manufacturers, distributors, and retailers — then ran field operations for a fast-growing e-commerce regional carrier across New England, where the work flipped to B2C: final-mile delivery straight to the consumer's door. In between, he worked as a transportation consultant advising other operators on both sides of that line. Most recently, he oversaw three companies running routed and same-day medical and life-science courier operations across New England — a mix of B2B distribution to clinics and facilities and B2C delivery to patients — while leading two full TMS platform transitions, including integrating a merged acquisition onto a new system without disrupting service.
That breadth — B2B distribution and B2C final-mile delivery, across freight, distribution, e-commerce, and time-critical medical and life-science courier work — convinced him a new company could compete with regional and national carriers on performance alone, no matter which side of the delivery a customer sits on.
He started Veritide Logistics Group to build the company he spent ten years wishing he could hire: one where staffing, consulting, and freight operations are one accountable relationship instead of three separate vendors.
